A series of art films worthy of deep appreciation begins with this film. It’s The Story Teller’s qualities that take it to a different level. After making its mark at several international film festivals, the film has now also become available on Disney Plus Hotstar.The biggest question now is whether this film will also get the appreciation it deserves in other film festivals.
The film is based on Satya Jeet Roy’s short story Golpo Boliye Tarini Khuro. Tarini Bandopadhyay, is a retired Kolkata resident who is passionate about telling stories. Once he gets a job offer for which he has to travel to Ahmedabad.His duty was to narrate stories to Ratan Goradia, an industrialist who could not sleep. He believed that despite narrating good stories from the above mentioned two prominent ones, Narendra and Vasoni. Two pages appear one and then another.To know what happens next in this journey, you will have to watch this film. This is a film which has the magnitude of speed and sight. The slow-moving film has an intrinsic beauty and a lesson to be learned for those who understand its inner themes.So without the emotional uproar that hits a chord in this film, this is the high point of the film. The disadvantage is that this is the most important thing about this film.The director and secretary will have to face this problem because during the screening time, there are innumerable things to be taken care of. The aim of the film is to show it with expert hands and Ananth Mahadevan has clearly done this.
Acting –
🔹Aasar Rawal was seen in a special role here, whose role in the film was impressive, according to the director. Rawal’s expressions, eye movements, every movement of his body and the sounds he makes around his mouth with the mic are like every character hidden within him.Similarly, he has completely got into the character of architect Aditi Anandix Ashtha.
🔹Adil Hussain’s performance is also strong. So, as you may believe, neither of their children are golden. Revathi’s Pariya is much nicer, different, hence she leaves it.
🔹 In the end, looking at the event, a beautiful performance is expected from Tanisha Chatterjee also.
Direction –
The film presented itself well, without any hesitation, without any costly elements, and Ananth Mahadhavan’s direction.
