Review of a Film: ‘Sky Force reveres the sacrifice of the Air Force, Akshay-Veer did wonders.’
Outline of the film ‘Sky Force’ In this film, starrers Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahadia play the roles of a courageous soldier who served India selflessly in the midst of the war. Deo, we suggest reading our review before watching the film. Republic day undoubtedly fills the heart of every Indian with patriotism, now more and with the help of bollywood. ‘Sky Force’ another thriller film from the heart throb of patriotic dark cinema Akshay Kumar.
What is the the theme of the movie ‘Sky Force’? The central piece of this film is Squadron Leader T.K.Vijay (Veer Pahadia) one of the youngest IAF energetic pilots in the Indian history.Vijay has more passion than respect for rules and always wants to do great things for the country.Vijay regards Wing Commander Kumar Om Ahuja like a big brother.
Commander Ahuja has made a promise to always look after Major Viyaj’s wife Geeta
In 1965 during India’s conflict with Pakistan, the Indian forces conducted ‘Operation Sky Force’ where Vijay performed an act that altered history.
The story behind this film is deeply tearful. The protagonist of this movie is Squadron Leader Ajjamada Boppiah Devaiah MVC.He fought against the Pakistani Armed forces and lost his life in 1965.The filmmakers have done a wonderful job bringing this hero to life.
I’ve never seen Akshay Kumar play the role of an IAF Officer, and he performed well to my surprise.Veteran actor, Aakaar Pahadiya with a minor role did well too.The pair of Sara Ali Khan and Aakar looked good together. And of course Nimrat Kaur, Sharad Kelkar, Varun Badola, Mohit Chauhan all had their parts essayed well too.The pacing of the movie is quite uneven with some parts being way too slow for comfort. However the battle sequences are great and fully engaging. The movie is directed by Abhishek Anil Kapoor and Sandeep Kewalani and I must say they kept it clean without too much drama.
The music in the film as well as the score is just superb.
From the snippets that I have watched, “Maa” sung by B Praak and Kya Meri Yaad Aati Hai by Vishal Mishra piques one’s emotional heart in an exceptional way.
