Royal Enfield Scram 440 launched in India; New look, new headlamp, new console and a larger engine.
Royal Enfield newly launched its Scram 440 bike in India, which includes addition of a new design in addition to new headlight and a bigger engine. The bike is available in two forms – Trail and Force. At an ex-showroom price, the Scram 440 is retailed at Rs 2.08 lakh which represents increased torque and power from its previous models. Pricing for Trail and Force versions are different; the latter boasts of sportier addition of alloy wheels and tube less tires while the former includes spoke wheels and tube tires with a connection to off-road. This bike is available in 5 color options: Blue, Green, Grey, and Teal.
Prices:
Ex-showroom pricing for Scram 440 Trail (Blue and Green) is 2.08 Lakh, while the Force variant (Gray and Teal) is 2.15 Lakh.
This bike will provide competition to newly launched Triumph Scrambler 400X and Yezdi Scrambler in india’s market.
Similar to the Royal Enfield Scram 411 model, the newly released Scram 440 comes in the exact same shape, however, it does have new features like a revamped seat, a larger fuel tank, a new LED headlight, and an adjusted tail section which gives it a more slender look.

Braking system: The new Scram 440 has 41 mm telescopic forks with 190 mm wheel travel that is supported by a monoshock suspension with 180 mm wheel travel. Additionally, it has a 300 mm disc brake at the front and 240 mm disc brake at the rear with dual-channel ABS.
