The state of Pakistan occupied Kashmir is facing catastrophic floods due to the overflowing of Jhelum River. This particular incident led Pakistan to place an emergency state in the region of Muzaffarabad. The floods triggered by power cuts and heavy rains along with the possible water release from India’s side is the main cause of devastation. Villages are already submerged, homes have been destructed, and an increase of war between the two powers is expected.
Why Is Muzaffarabad Under Water
India has supposedly released an excess of water from their brows towards Uri Dam stationed in Jammu and Kashmir is prior blamed for the flood.
Over 50 villages have been destroyed in floods, 12000 people are displaced from their home, important roads and bridges got washed away too.
