NEET UG Counselling 2025 Registration with High Expectations and nervous anticipation
The moment of truth has come on the doorsteps of 2.4 million NEET-qualified aspirants. This is the first week of the NEET UG Counselling 2025 process and immediately, it caused a surge of ecstatic and tense anticipation throughout India. With Round 1 registrations now open on mcc.nic.in (as the Medical Counselling Committee, or MCC, might more prosaically be called), students have at last seen their white-coat futures come well into focus, but the heart-throbbing, nerve-pummelling rollercoaster ride is only starting to get under way.

Registration Period: July 15 th -25 th, 2025 (up to 5 PM)

The Cut-Off Conundrum Deciphered
Though official NEET UG Counselling 2025 cut-offs will not release till later after choice locking, that is already leading to sleepless nights: it is bound to be worse than the previous years, and even worse, after choice locking is released, some of the trending seat predictors that are being followed by various AI have already declared this as the worst year of seats so far:

The Emotional Gauntlet
Associated with each registration ID there is also a human story:
Vikram Singh (NEET score: 612), a resident of the rural area, covered 300 km to reach a cyber cafe in Jharkhand. In my village there is no WiFi. Should this not follow I cannot again afford to attempt.”
Second-Chance Anxiety: Delhi single-Schooler Ananya Reddy (dropped year), declared: I started crying when I saw the text of the button. It is my last crack before my family can make me become an engineer.”
Parental Sacrifice: R. Menon of Chennai, took a leave without pay: “We have mortgaged jewelry to coach. And please may choice filling run smoothly.”
Pitfalls That Should be Avoided
According to the NEET UG Counselling 2025 guidelines by the MCC, there are fatal errors during the light of dreams:
Filing fiascos: Blurred photographs or affidavits that are not signed will get an immediate rejection.
Choice-Filling Gambles: Desiring to be prestigious more than it matters to be practical (“New rule: AIIMS over your real cutoff range”).
Payment Delays: Payments missed of after 5 PM on July 25 lose eligibility.
What is next?
Following the allotment of seats in Round 1 that took place on August 2, successful candidates will be obliged to:
Letter of allocation download
Deposit a cash retention fee of 30, 000R
Physically report in allocated colleges by the 10th of August
To those who anticipate more than a round through counselling i.e. 60 percent, the MCC co-ordinator Dr. Arvind Sharma has a word of advice; Don t despair when Round 1 falls flat. Round 3 had 12,000 seats occupied last year.”
