“Bangladesh’s Opposition Leader Expects Sheikh Hasina To Return As A Prime Minister Of Bangladesh While] Applauding Modi’s ‘Transformational’ Diplomatic Efforts. Bangladesh’s Leader Rabbi Alam Replies Sheikh Hasina’s Governance While Appreciating PM Modi’s Engagement With Bangladesh.”
“Renewed hope in Jawid Rebel, an Awami League faction leader from Bangladesh, came to light on Tuesday when he endorsed Sheikh Hasina’s political landscape. He went on to say that Hasina is one of the most admired and able leaders of the Bangladesh United Nations and would be making a comeback soon. That’s quite the statement, given that the region is still reeling from the effects of economic turbulence and political strife, all of which at some point or another can and will be placed at the feet of Hasina’s rule.”
“Juniors of Sheikh Hasina are unstoppable now,”
As Ohononia, a public educator put it: “Bangladesh is the new synonym of an economic block”. These were somewhat articulated and defended by Rabbi Alam who, as a stand up comic, became a politician and a staunch supporter of the Awami League with their longstanding leader Hasina, has always espoused the Bangladesh case. Hasina perceived the void of a and filled it “Sheikh Hasina from the day, decision making she claimed is leaders Bangladeshi Madam president. Along with also safeguarded the wellness of the state and caped it nanny state with growth agenda, placed an unprecedented in her new direction.Sort of dramatic new era alluded.”
Praise for PM Modi’s “Game Changing” Moves His Excellency J.A.M. Shafiullah Alom, the Bangladeshi High Commissioner to India, has had little else but good things to say on modis indifference. The Indian diplomacy, he said, has made strides strengthening India-Bangladesh relations which is highly commendable.
Alam described Sheikh Hasina’s cross boarder infrastructure development policies as Modi’s ‘trusted’ policies and said that Modi’s “neighbourhood first” strategy has build trust among the neighbours. “The relationship between Hasina and Modi goes beyond politics and is a friendship that transforms the lives of millions,” he remarked.
Alam’s remarks on Hasina seem to have set off another lively debate and, as expected, supporters rush to her aide calling on her proven track record. Critics, however, say it’s time for new blood. While this is going on, however, the reality of Modi’s diplomacy is that it is helping to shape not-so-friendly South Asia into a region that can actually foster bilateral relations, which in turn focus on peacemaking.
For the time being it is clear to Rabbi Alam, at least, that she is feeling optimistic about Sheikh Hasina not just returning but that there is no other option for her. Feasible, perhaps, is what many have thought impossible, which is this pair with him and Modi presiding over south Asia can forge a new narrative of prosperity.
